North Forest Pines Elementary is a mid-sized school in Raleigh’s northern Wake County corridor serving 536 students in grades PK through 5 as part of the broadly well-regarded Wake County Schools system. While the school currently holds a respectable 3-star rating and ranks in the 61st percentile statewide, its trajectory is one of decline. From 2015 to 2021, it consistently ranked in the 76th–85th percentile (4 stars), but over the last few years it has settled into a lower-performing tier, which is important context for parents considering the school.

Academically, North Forest Pines sits below Wake County averages in nearly every subject and grade level tested.
