Clover Park School District

Clover Park School District includes 27 schools serving students from prekindergarten through Grade 12, with 16 elementary schools, three middle schools, six high schools, and two alternative schools. The district serves a diverse area with schools ranging from very small specialized programs to traditional campuses enrolling hundreds of students. Overall, the district ranks in the 32nd percentile statewide, but school performance varies considerably from campus to campus.

Elementary schools include several of the district’s strongest performers. Meriwether Elementary School leads in overall achievement, with 66.07% proficiency in English language arts, 63.39% in math, and 72.73% in science. Beachwood Elementary School has the district’s highest math result at 69.33%, while Rainier Elementary School shows balanced performance across all three subjects. Idlewild Elementary School made one of the largest improvements, especially in science. Results are less consistent at schools such as Park Lodge Elementary School, Lakeview Hope Academy, and Four Heroes Elementary.

Middle school is the greatest academic concern, particularly in math. Thomas Middle School is the strongest of the three, while Hudtloff Middle School and Lochburn Middle School report much lower proficiency. At the high-school level, General William H. Harrison Preparatory School is the clear academic standout, and Lakes High School combines stronger testing with a 96.5% graduation rate. Clover Park High School has weaker test results but strong graduation and dropout outcomes. Alternative programs serve different purposes and should not be compared directly with traditional schools.
