Summary

Lake Louise Elementary School is a public elementary school serving about 450 students from Pre-K through 5th grade in Lakewood, Washington, as part of the Clover Park School District.

Academically, the school's test scores are below the state average in all subjects, placing it in the middle range compared to other schools in its own district. It performs significantly better than some nearby schools like Park Lodge Elementary School but lags behind higher-performing neighbors such as Beachwood Elementary School and Meriwether Elementary School. The school shows notable strengths in supporting Hispanic students and English Language Learners, and its fifth graders tend to perform closer to state averages than students in lower grades. However, it has shown inconsistent results over time with military-connected students, which is an important consideration for families near Joint Base Lewis-McChord.

Lake Louise operates with a relatively low student-to-teacher ratio and spends less per student than several district peers with similar or worse outcomes. Interestingly, schools in the neighboring Steilacoom Hist. School District, like Saltars Point Elementary, achieve stronger academic results despite having higher class sizes and lower per-student funding, highlighting broader district-level differences. For parents, Lake Louise represents a moderately performing school within its district, with specific program strengths but overall results that are shaped by the context of the larger school system.

Open Quote My son has attended this school for 2 years now and the rating does not do this school justice, at least through to the 2nd grade. Mrs. Collins, the 1st grade teacher is AMAZING and modifies to children and really works with the children. I have never had a bad experience with the teachers and feel the teachers do a great job.
