Redwood Middle serves 589 students in grades 6–8 in Thousand Oaks, California. In 2025–26, 63% of students were proficient in English Language Arts (ELA), 49% in math and 50% in science. Redwood exceeded California’s proficiency rates in all three subjects, but fell below Conejo Valley Unified in each. The most important takeaway is that Redwood is above state levels overall, while math—especially in eighth grade—is its clearest academic pressure point.
