As you review the school rankings data, please be aware that some of the information from certain demographics is missing. The reason for this omission is that the data has been redacted from the source data itself due to low population samples in these specific demographic groups.

Redacting data from low population samples is a necessary step to ensure the reliability and accuracy of the results, as small sample sizes may not be representative of the broader population. Additionally, this measure helps protect the privacy of individuals belonging to these demographic groups.

Open Quote The teachers and staff cater to kids who catch on quick and stay engaged. If your child struggles and you just desperately want them to get through school, KM is the place to be with their "no retention" policy pushing kids through whether they get it or not. If you are a parent who cares whether or not your kid does well, you're fine if your kid is a main stream learner. If your kid struggles AND you care? This is NOT the place. They do not communicate with parents when a child is struggling and once the parents know there is something going on (only because of a grade report), you have to pull teeth to get answers. When my child started struggling (out of pure boredom), it took most of the school year to get in touch with some of the teachers. I finally threatened them with the school board and they cooperated quickly. They do not utilize the parent component of the teaching team. Good learning /studying skills start at home. KM does not think they need parents to "interfere" with their teaching methods and would rather overlook a struggling child and slip them on through with the rest of the kids than to actually do their jobs and create a true learning environment for all students rather than just the majority who go through school without incident. About Students eligible for discounted/free lunch:

The National School Lunch Program (NSLP) provides low-cost or free meals to students in U.S. public and nonprofit private schools based on household income. Those with incomes below 130% of the poverty line receive free lunch, while those between 130% and 185% qualify for reduced-price lunch. The percentage of students receiving free or reduced-price lunch serves as a marker for poverty, as it reflects the socioeconomic status of families in a given school or district. A higher FRPL rate typically indicates a higher concentration of low-income families, suggesting that the school or district may face additional challenges in providing adequate resources and support for student success.

About Student-Teacher Ratio

Student/teacher ratio is calculated by dividing the total number of students by the total number of full-time equivalent teachers. Please note that a smaller student/teacher ratio does not necessarily translate to smaller class size. In some instances, schools hire teachers part time, and some teachers are hired for specialized instruction with very small class sizes. These and other factors contribute to the student/teacher ratio. Note: For private schools, Student/teacher ratio may not include Pre-Kindergarten.
