Skyview High School is a large grades 9–12 public school in the Vancouver, Washington, area, serving 1,869 students in the Vancouver School District. Its 2025–26 statewide ranking places it 163rd out of 396 Washington high schools, in the 59th percentile. Skyview is substantially larger than nearby schools such as Columbia River High and Ridgefield High School, so comparisons should account for its broad enrollment and range of student needs.

Skyview’s strongest results are its graduation and student-retention outcomes. The 2024–25 graduation rate was 92.8%, well above the district’s 83.0% and Washington’s 82.6%, while the dropout rate was 4.0%, less than half the district and state rates. Skyview also exceeded district averages in all three tested subjects in 2025–26: 57.04% of students were proficient in English language arts, 32.17% in math, and 52.46% in science. Its ELA and science results were above the state averages, although both have declined in recent years. Compared with Columbia River High, Skyview had stronger math and graduation results, but Columbia River led in ELA and science.

Ridgefield also had slightly higher graduation and lower dropout rates, while Vancouver iTech Preparatory and Vancouver School of Arts and Academics generally posted stronger academic results. Families may want to ask about math support, class sizes, and services for English learners, students receiving special education, and other student groups whose recent effectiveness results were weaker.

the school is crowded and i have gone there since i was a freshmen (I'm a junior now) and the teachers, are just horribly and the other students, just are mean, people at times, or care so much about sports, you just might as well slap them....
so if you like sport related things...have fun
