Grace E. Metz Middle is a 7th–8th grade middle school in Manassas, VA, serving about 1,111 students as part of Manassas City Public Schools. This suggests targeted support for specific student populations, rather than broad school-wide change, may be the most effective path forward. For parents, Metz offers excellent accelerated math instruction and signs of improving attendance, but families should be aware of significant gaps in standard-track math and reading, and should ask how their child's needs will be met in the general classroom.
