The encouraging news is that Seymour's success within the same district proves the gap is not inevitable. Northview's clearest priorities are reducing chronic absenteeism, investigating what is driving the 6th-grade decline, and rebuilding social studies instruction so that students are better prepared before they move on to Northview Junior Academy.
