Forbush High is a medium-sized traditional public high school in East Bend, North Carolina, serving about 787 students in grades 9–12 as part of Yadkin County Schools. The school currently ranks in the 34th percentile of North Carolina high schools with a 2-star rating, a substantial drop from its 71st-percentile, 4-star ranking in 2018-19. Among nearby schools, Forbush trails West Stokes High, Ronald Reagan High, and West Forsyth High in overall performance, though it sits in a similar tier to Starmount High within the same district.
