Morton Elementary is a large pre-K through 5th grade school in Jacksonville, North Carolina, serving about 715 students as part of Onslow County Schools. In the latest ratings, Morton lands in the 59th percentile statewide (611th out of 1,492 elementary schools) with a 3-star rating, making it the second-highest-ranked of the nearby schools listed — behind only Carolina Forest Elementary (72nd percentile) and above Silverdale Elementary (52nd percentile) and Parkwood Elementary (41st percentile). Morton's ranking has climbed from the 27th percentile in 2015–2016 to a peak of the 79th percentile in 2022–2023 before settling at its current level.
