White Oak High is a large traditional public high school in Jacksonville, NC, serving approximately 1,252 students in grades 9–12 as part of Onslow County Schools, a district ranked in the middle of North Carolina. By overall state ranking, White Oak sits at the 32nd percentile — 451st out of 662 high schools — a decline from a decade ago, when the school ranked near the 55th percentile.

On state end-of-course exams, White Oak trails both district and state averages in most subjects.
