Framingham High School is a large public 9–12 school at 115 A Street in Framingham, MA, serving 2,534 students as part of the Framingham district.

In 2025–26, it ranked 204th of 353 Massachusetts high schools (42nd percentile, 2 stars), which is above its district’s overall rank of 310th of 351 (12th percentile) but below the state and far below most nearby schools. Tenth-grade MCAS proficiency was below state in every tested subject—ELA 38.96%, math 37.63%, science 35.29%, biology 30.72%—and math and science have declined since 2022–23. Neighboring high schools such as Wellesley Senior High, Weston High, Dover-Sherborn Regional High, and Wayland High School post much higher proficiency rates, while Marlborough High and Joseph P Keefe Technical High School are closer to the school’s results.

The most serious concern is graduation and dropout: in 2024–25, Framingham High had a 75.7% graduation rate and 15.6% dropout rate, far out of line with nearby schools like Natick High (96.6% graduation, 2.1% dropout) and Lincoln-Sudbury Regional High (98.7% graduation, 0.0% dropout).
