Clement Middle serves 1,023 students in grades 6–8 in Redlands, California. In 2025–2026, chronic absenteeism was 25%, compared with 21% in Redlands Unified and 18% statewide. The most important finding is that Clement’s results were below both state and district averages in ELA, math, and science, and it had the lowest all-grades results among the four Redlands Unified middle schools shown.

Clement’s results are also behind its district peers in every subject. In 2025–2026, 43% of students were proficient in ELA, 27% in math, and 26% in science; those results were 7, 12, and 10 percentage points below state averages, respectively. Compared with the average for Beattie Middle, Cope Middle, and Moore Middle, Clement was behind by 5 points in ELA, 9 in math, and 5 in science. Seventh grade stands out as a relative bright spot: ELA proficiency was 47%, compared with 41% in sixth grade and 39% in eighth grade. Sixth-grade math and eighth-grade results were weaker than those of all three district peers.
