Summary:
Zip code 91764 has 17 schools—11 elementary, two middle and four high schools—with the latest results from 2025–2026. Across the 14 schools with numeric results that year, unweighted averages were 43% in ELA/Literacy, 34% in math and 27% in science, compared with state results of 49%, 38% and 36%. That leaves the area averages 6, 5 and 9 points below the state, respectively; science is the clearest shared shortfall. Most important, results vary sharply from school to school, so the area average alone does not describe what families will find.
Edison Elementary leads the elementary and middle schools in all three subjects, with 77% in ELA/Literacy, 70% in math and 59% in science—28, 31 and 23 points above the state. Chaffey District Online High leads all schools with numeric 2025–2026 results: 78%, 77% and 67%, respectively, though it enrolls just 93 students. At the other end, Valley View High (Continuation) has the lowest results in each subject—10%, 9% and 7%—or 39, 30 and 29 points below the state. Among elementary and middle schools, Corona Elementary also stands out, scoring above the state in ELA/Literacy and math; Lincoln Elementary, Berlyn Elementary and Del Norte Elementary have the lowest results in ELA, math and science, respectively, in that group.
Average results improved from 2024–2025 to 2025–2026 among the same 14 schools: 4 points in ELA/Literacy, 3 in math and 3 in science. The gaps with the state narrowed in ELA and math but changed little in science; individual results varied, including a 16-point science decline at Corona and a 17-point rise at Chaffey Online. SchoolDigger rankings also moved in different directions: Ray Wiltsey Middle rose from the 37th to the 52nd percentile, while Lincoln fell from the 40th to the 26th. The reported low-income measure is free/reduced lunch eligible, for 2024–2025: Edison reported 73%, compared with 91% at Corona and 95% at Mariposa Elementary; these figures describe school context, not a cause of results. Ratios also do not neatly track scores: Edison’s was 25.9 students per teacher, versus 21.4 at Mariposa. High-school outcomes add another consideration: chronic absenteeism was 61% at Chaffey Online and 88% at Valley View, compared with 18% statewide. Two schools have only older test results, and Chaffey Community Day’s 2025–2026 results are suppressed.
