Open Quote I went here and if you are willing to put in the work, like at any other school, you can succeed. It was lacking in some areas, but thats bound to happen. I was grateful for some of the teachers I had that encouraged continual growth. Shockingly I went to a private liberal arts College in another state and Maloney set me up to be well ahead of other freshman at the time. Freshman and part of my sophomore year in college were almost a review of topics covered in high-school. If you have a student going to Maloney encourage them to work hard and take advantage of the many advanced programs and ap/eve courses.

Lack of diversity of classes and teachers is a downfall though. Majority of the teachers are very white passing/presenting and the student body is primarily minorities. Close Quote

Open Quote this school should be ashamed of itself, it pushed my daughter every year even though she had d's and f's consistently, she never took gym one time grade 9 to 11, failed every year, but if she sat in a room the last week of each year they would move her through, this year she is a senior , and the guidance department is telling her to go to college, this school needs to get their head out of the sand, I have 5 children, 3 of which went through Bristol system, they all graduated college and are successful, my 2 youngest are meriden school system , neither one is ready for the world, maloney has failed our children, and our community, they should be ashamed of themselves, this senior year for my daughter is photograghy, art, music, senior forum, and study halls, this girl cant read ,or do math but they are telling her she should go to college, YOU SHOULD BE ASHAMED, POOR EXCUSE OF A SCHOOL, Close Quote
