Orville H. Platt High School is a comprehensive public high school in Meriden, CT, serving approximately 1,191 students in grades 9–12 as part of the Meriden School District. The school serves a high-poverty community, with about 81% of students qualifying for free or reduced-price lunch, and it currently ranks 103rd of 133 high schools statewide — a bottom-quarter position that has nonetheless improved over the past two years.

Overall, Platt is a school making real progress on attendance and completion, but math achievement remains its most urgent priority.
