Summary

Endeavour Elementary School is a public Pre-K through 5th grade school serving 471 students in Vancouver, WA, and is part of the Evergreen School District (Clark).

Endeavour is a school on a strong upward trend, showing impressive recovery in its statewide ranking and academic scores after a challenging period. It particularly excels in math and science, where its students outperform both the district and state averages. This success is notable because the school serves a student population with significant economic need, yet it achieves better academic results than many nearby schools with similar or even lower poverty rates, such as Image Elementary School and Hearthwood Elementary School. Furthermore, the school is very effective in supporting specific student groups, including English Language Learners and students from low-income families, with its rankings for serving these groups showing substantial recent improvement.

When looking at efficiency, Endeavour stands out within its district for achieving strong outcomes with relatively lower per-student spending compared to peers like Burnt Bridge Creek Elementary School. Its performance is also dramatically stronger than schools in the neighboring Vancouver School District, such as Peter S Ogden Elementary. While English Language Arts remains an area for growth relative to the state, Endeavour's overall profile is one of a resilient, effective school that successfully supports its diverse community.

Open Quote My daughter has attended Endeavour for 4 years. She still has a love for school which is a testament to the teachers as well as here at home. The school tries to get parents involved in many activities. I feel the teachers strive to teach more than just the typical reading, writing and math. They encourage group activities, speaking in a large group, mentoring, etc. The only area for improvement would be more communication. The newsletter no longer comes home, it is strictly online, and often teachers & the school rely solely on the students to update parents, etc. Overall, Endeavour has been a great school. I have always felt welcome and know my daughter is getting a good education. Close Quote

Open Quote Bullying issues are swept under the rug at this school. Was told by the principal that home life needs to stay at home and school life needs to stay at school. Then she proceeded to tell me if I just didn't give my son attention for the bruises he was coming home with he'd stop complaining about them. I would never suggest this school to anyone.
