Union High School is a public school for grades 9–12 in Camas, Washington, serving about 1,989 students in the suburban Vancouver-area community. It is part of Evergreen School District (Clark) and is a large, comprehensive high school. Its latest statewide ranking was 137th of 396 schools, placing it at the 65th percentile—an improvement from the 51st percentile the previous two years.

One of the school’s clearest strengths is keeping students on track to graduate. The 2024–25 graduation rate was 96.0%, compared with 91.7% for the district and 82.6% statewide; the dropout rate was 2.0%. Academically, English language arts is the strongest tested area: 71.94% of students were proficient in 2025–26, above both the district’s 40.55% and the state’s 52.81%. Math improved to 37.61% but remained below the state’s 43.11%. Science proficiency was 41.98%, slightly above the district but below the state, and has declined from 48.99% in 2022–23. These results suggest encouraging overall momentum, while math and science deserve continued attention.

Within the district, the school compares favorably with similarly large Mountain View High School and Evergreen High School, especially in ELA and graduation. The most demanding nearby comparison is similarly sized Camas High School, which has much higher math, science, and ELA proficiency, although Union’s graduation rate is slightly higher. Recent subgroup results improved broadly, but students receiving special education services ranked at the 28th percentile, indicating an important area for support. With a relatively high student-teacher ratio of 23.0, the school’s next priorities are sustaining recent gains, strengthening math and science, and improving outcomes for students who need additional services.
