Meadowdale also stands out academically in English Language Arts: 75.35% of students were proficient in 2025–26, compared with 58.44% districtwide and 52.81% statewide. That result was higher than nearby Mountlake Terrace High School, Lynnwood High School, and Edmonds Woodway High School.

Compared with Henry M. Jackson High School and Kamiak High School, Meadowdale trails in math and science but remains competitive in graduation and literacy.
