Zip code 98020 includes seven schools serving students from kindergarten through grade 12 in the Edmonds area: five elementary schools, one high school, and one alternative K–12 program, all part of the Edmonds School District.

For elementary families, Seaview Elementary has the strongest overall academic profile, with 68.33% proficiency in ELA, 66.97% in math, and 73.47% in science. Sherwood Elementary is similarly strong and has the highest science result at 79.69%, along with the best recent ranking trend. Edmonds Elementary posted the highest ELA result, at 70.20%, and strong math performance, although some science results are unavailable because they were suppressed. Westgate Elementary is mixed: science is strong, but ELA and math trail the district, and its ranking has gradually declined.
