Edmonds eLearning Academy is a small public school in Lynnwood, Washington, serving 234 students in grades 7–12 within the Edmonds School District. Its online or alternative format is quite different from nearby traditional high schools, which are generally much larger and usually serve grades 9–12.

The school’s biggest academic challenge is mathematics: just 9.43% of students were proficient in 2025–26, compared with 47.77% in the district and 43.11% statewide. Math performance has stayed low over four years, ranging from 9.43% to 17.81%. English language arts was stronger at 41.82%, though still below the district’s 58.44% and the state’s 52.81%. Graduation improved to 61.0% in 2024–25, but remained below the district’s 85.9% and Washington’s 82.6%; the dropout rate declined to 28.5% but was still much higher than the district’s 8.2%. The school’s small enrollment and reported 18.8 student-teacher ratio could support individualized help, but the results suggest that consistent advising, attendance follow-up, credit tracking, math tutoring, and graduation planning are especially important. Year-to-year rankings have also been highly volatile, so families should view long-term trends rather than any single ranking as the best guide.
