Rocky Mountain Middle is a public school in Heber City serving 673 students in grades 6–8. Located in the Wasatch District, the school serves a growing community in the Heber Valley and has developed into one of Utah’s stronger middle schools. It ranks 37th out of 217 Utah middle schools, placing it in the 83rd percentile and earning four stars. Its long-term progress is notable: the school rose from the 46th percentile in 2018–2019 to the low 80th percentiles in recent years. The 16:1 student-teacher ratio is also favorable compared with many nearby schools.
