Herriman High is a large public school serving grades 10–12 in Herriman, Utah, with 2,522 students in the Jordan District and several other traditional high schools nearby, including Bingham High, Riverton High, Copper Hills High, and Mountain Ridge High.

The school’s latest results show a major turnaround. Herriman High ranks 32nd of 139 Utah high schools, in the 77th percentile, compared with 92nd of 138 the previous year. Its 10th-grade proficiency rates were 61.1% in English Language Arts, 31.3% in mathematics, and 46.5% in science—above both district and state averages in every subject. ELA was the strongest area and the highest among the nearby traditional schools, slightly ahead of Bingham High. Bingham High still had the stronger overall rank and higher math and science results, but Herriman High outperformed Mountain Ridge High and Copper Hills High by wide margins.

Completion outcomes are another strength: the 2024–25 graduation rate was 94.7%, compared with 91.8% for the Jordan District and 89.8% statewide. The dropout rate was 4.5%, while chronic absenteeism was 19.2%—better than district and state averages, though not as strong as at Riverton High or Mountain Ridge High. Mathematics remains the clearest academic opportunity despite a 12-point year-over-year gain. The school also reports especially strong effectiveness for English Language Learners and improving results for students from low-income households. Overall, its recent trajectory is notably positive, although sustaining the latest gains and reducing absenteeism will be important.
