Clearfield High is a large public school serving grades 10–12 in Clearfield, Utah, with 2,041 students and a location near several other traditional high schools in the Davis District. The district ranks around the middle of Utah districts statewide, while Clearfield’s latest ranking was 79th of 139 schools, in the 43rd percentile. Its ranking has varied considerably, moving from the 26th percentile in 2023–24 to the 63rd percentile in 2024–25 and back to the 43rd percentile in 2025–26. This suggests that the school can show strong results but has not yet established a consistent improvement trend.

Academic performance is mixed, with mathematics the clearest concern. In the latest 10th-grade Aspire Plus results, 46.5% of students were proficient in English Language Arts, 27.6% in math, and 39.1% in science. Math proficiency was 8.4 percentage points below the district and 1.8 points below Utah overall. Clearfield’s ELA and science results were generally competitive with nearby schools: it outperformed Northridge High in all three subjects and exceeded Layton High in ELA and science. However, Syracuse High posted stronger results in each subject.
