Jackson-Milton High School is a small, rural-suburban public school serving about 170 students in grades 9–12 in North Jackson, Ohio, roughly 10 miles northwest of Youngstown, and it is the only high school in the Jackson-Milton Local district. In 2025–26 it ranked 153rd of 795 Ohio high schools (81st percentile, 4 stars), while the district overall ranked 131st of 773 (83rd percentile, 4 stars) — a notably stable record whose only 5-star year came in 2022–23.

Academically, the school clears the state average in every tested subject: English II 82.9 versus 62.7 statewide, American History 88.2 versus 73.2, Biology 82.4 versus 67.0, Algebra I 75.8 versus 61.6, Geometry 61.1 versus 43.3, and American Government 80.6 versus 71.6.
