Western Reserve High School is a small rural public school in Berlin Center, Ohio (Mahoning County) serving grades 9–12 with about 127 students, part of the Western Reserve Local district, which ranks 141 of 773 Ohio districts (82nd percentile, 4 stars). For 2025-2026 the school ranks 218 of 795 high schools statewide (73rd percentile, 4 stars), a rebound from 345th (60th percentile, 3 stars) the year before. Nearly the entire student body — 97.6% — is economically disadvantaged, and the school pairs that with an unusually low 6.6:1 student-to-teacher ratio, the lowest of any comparable high school in the area.
