Algebra I reached 92.4% (state: 61.6%) and Geometry 85.5% (state: 43.3%) — both the highest among nearby schools, ahead of Arcanum High School, Ansonia High School, Brookville High School and others. English II was 84.7% and American History 89.5%, each near the top of the local group. Seventh-grade English language arts was 92.2%. Eighth-grade mathematics is the exception at 46.6%, below the state's 52.0% and well below Mississinawa Valley Junior/Senior High School's 85.1%. The graduation rate was 98.6%.

Two areas deserve attention. Chronic absenteeism was 19.5%, above the district's 15.0% and higher than Franklin Monroe High School (5.1%), Arcanum (7.5%), Brookville (10.5%) and Ansonia (12.6%), though it improved from 21.9% in 2021–22. Effectiveness for the low-socioeconomic-status subgroup is exceptional — 96th percentile, 5 stars — while the gifted subgroup sits at the 45th percentile with 2 stars. The school also achieves strong results at relatively low spending: $8,622 per student in 2018–19, versus a nearby average of about $10,645. Student–teacher ratio is 15.6 and free/reduced lunch was 42.58% in 2024–25.
