Summary

Euclid High School is a public high school in Euclid, Ohio, serving grades 9–12 in the Euclid City district, with 1,505 students — one of the largest high schools in its comparison group. It ranked 641st of 795 Ohio high schools (19th percentile, 1 star) in 2025-26, and its percentile has hovered between 15 and 23 for a decade, so the low rating is not a one-year dip. The district ranks 667th of 773 (14th percentile, 1 star).

Academics are uneven. American Government is the bright spot: 72.2% proficient, the only subject at or above the state average (71.6%), roughly tied with Brush High School (73.4%) but below Mayfield High School and Wickliffe Upper School (84.4% and 84.5%). American History is 70.5%, below the state but above the district. In Biology (44.8%), English II (41.1%), Geometry (26.0%) and Algebra I (27.4%), proficiency is far below state averages, and math is the clearest weakness — Algebra I also trails the district (33.7%). Still, every subject posted double-digit gains over 2024-25.

The graduation rate rose to 90.5%, up from 83.3% and 76.6% in the two prior years — above the district (88.6%) but below Mayfield, Wickliffe, Richmond Heights High School, Brush and North High School. Chronic absenteeism is 56.9%, well above the district's 37.3% and much higher than Mayfield's 24.3%, though better than Shaw High School (68.7%) and Ginn Academy (77.6%). School effectiveness varies by group: African American students ranked 51st percentile (3 stars) and gifted students near the state median, while several other groups sit in the bottom quartile. Per-student spending was $10,114 in 2018-19, the lowest among nearby schools with reported spending.
