Brush High School is a public high school in Lyndhurst, Ohio, serving grades 9–12 in the South Euclid-Lyndhurst City district with 1,030 students. On Ohio's 2025–2026 state ranking, Brush placed 590th out of 795 schools — the 26th percentile with a 1-star rating — and its rank has generally remained in the bottom quartile to bottom third over the past decade, between the 17th and 31st percentiles. Academically the picture is mixed: American Government proficiency is above the state average, while American History, English II, Biology, Geometry, and Algebra I are below it. Our family has had an overall positive experience, especially with the honors and band programs. Our child has been in the school district since kindergarten and has good friends. It is too bad the district does not provide transportation (busing.) We are looking forward to several upcoming improvements to the building, thanks to the generous community passing a recent levy.
