Nearby schools posted stronger results: West Yadkin Elementary (22nd percentile), Yadkinville Elementary (31st), Roaring River Elementary (60th), and Dobson Elementary (77th). All three Yadkin County elementary schools in the area rank in the bottom third, suggesting a districtwide challenge, but Jonesville trails even its district peers. Given that similar high-poverty schools nearby succeed, and given the recent gains in attendance and early-grade reading, Jonesville has a realistic path toward improvement if it can stabilize upper-elementary results and build on its momentum.
