As you review the school rankings data, please be aware that some of the information from certain demographics is missing. The reason for this omission is that the data has been redacted from the source data itself due to low population samples in these specific demographic groups.

Redacting data from low population samples is a necessary step to ensure the reliability and accuracy of the results, as small sample sizes may not be representative of the broader population. Additionally, this measure helps protect the privacy of individuals belonging to these demographic groups.

Open Quote Hello, I go to Weymouth High School. I'm in all honors classes (except French and that by choice) and I'm a sophomore. I took Honors Biology my freshman year (a sophomore class) and I had an A average and got an advanced on MCAS. I'm in Honors Chemistry (a junior class) and I have an A average too. The science department is extremely smart and very good teachers. I am also in Honors English 10. My teachers is Fantastic! I have an A+ average. The English department is also very very good! I am in Honors United States History 1. I also have an A+ average. The history department is probably The best department in The school. I take 2 math classes this year Algebra1 and Algebra2 . I have a 100 in Algebra1 and a C+ in algebra2. I've never been good at math so don't take my math grade badly. It is a good department with some great teachers. Our Language department and Arts department isn't The best and could be improved but its good enough, I have a B+ in French4 college prep. I do not take art classes. Our sports teams and very successful. Soccer in particular is very good, very hard to make The teams though because everyone in Weymouth plays soccer. Our football teams are very good and went 10-1 this year (I think). The track team is very good and won at states this year!
This town school overall is very good, and most of The students are very good, take my word for It. Close Quote

About Students eligible for discounted/free lunch:

The National School Lunch Program (NSLP) provides low-cost or free meals to students in U.S. public and nonprofit private schools based on household income. Those with incomes below 130% of the poverty line receive free lunch, while those between 130% and 185% qualify for reduced-price lunch. The percentage of students receiving free or reduced-price lunch serves as a marker for poverty, as it reflects the socioeconomic status of families in a given school or district. A higher FRPL rate typically indicates a higher concentration of low-income families, suggesting that the school or district may face additional challenges in providing adequate resources and support for student success.

About Student-Teacher Ratio

Student/teacher ratio is calculated by dividing the total number of students by the total number of full-time equivalent teachers. Please note that a smaller student/teacher ratio does not necessarily translate to smaller class size. In some instances, schools hire teachers part time, and some teachers are hired for specialized instruction with very small class sizes. These and other factors contribute to the student/teacher ratio. Note: For private schools, Student/teacher ratio may not include Pre-Kindergarten.
