Westfield has held a 5-star rating every year since 2016–17, making it one of Indiana's most consistently strong high schools. Among nearby large comprehensive high schools, only Carmel High School (4th of 415) ranks higher; Westfield outpaces Noblesville High School (19th), Sheridan High School (60th), and North Central High School (176th).
