Westfield-Washington Schools is a suburban Indianapolis district in Hamilton County serving roughly 10,000 students across nine schools — six elementary buildings, a grades 5–6 intermediate school, a grades 7–8 middle school, and one high school. It ranks 13th of 374 Indiana districts (97th percentile, 5 stars), and every school and grade level tested beats its state comparison, by margins of 15 to 29 points.

The district's standouts are its elementary top tier and its high school. Oak Trace Elementary School ranks 23rd of 1,015 elementary schools with the district's highest math proficiency (83.82%), lowest poverty (8.93% free/reduced lunch), and 4.1% chronic absenteeism. Maple Glen Elementary is the momentum school — up to 29th statewide with the lowest absenteeism anywhere in the district at 3.3% — while Shamrock Springs Elementary School is the most stable, holding the 91st–92nd percentile for three years. Westfield High School ranks 10th of 415 high schools with a 98.2% graduation rate and SAT reading 24 points above the state.

Parents should watch three buildings. Monon Trail Elementary School fell from the 95th to the 83rd percentile in one year, has the highest poverty (28.94%) and largest classes (19.1 ratio), and is the district's only 4-star school — though its math (73.13%) still beats the district. Carey Ridge Elementary School slid for three straight years despite the district's highest spending ($14,964) and smallest classes (14.4). Washington Woods Elementary School has the lowest reading and science scores but the second-lowest absenteeism (4.9%). Overall, math is the district's signature strength in elementary grades, spending does not track with results, and absenteeism (8.2% vs. 16.7% state) roughly doubles by high school.
