Open Quote The administration, faculty and staff really have the best interest of the students and community at heart and work as if they are a family with the students being a part of that family. They work extremely hard and go beyond the "call of duty" by working at extracurricular activities like attending functions, helping with community outreach programs, gate duty at sporting events, etc.
The school has a high graduation rate, offers many AP courses and has higher than average test scores when compared to the State and at the top for our County and surrounding counties. I, my wife and all three of our children have attended THS our entire school career and we feel we have all received a great education that prepared us to do anything we would like to pursue. Open Quote I have one daughter that graduated from Temple High and another who is currently attending. Both have been challenged academically and participate in extracurricular activities. AP and dual enrollment courses are offered onsite. Arts and athletic programs are competitive and nurture growth. Close Quote

Open Quote Temple High School serves as the hub of the Temple Community. As a former graduate of Temple High School I can speak to the fantastic programs and education that were provided to me from the school. I am excited to see the many new improvements to the facilities over the past few years, including a turf football field and stadium renovations, new gym, and new athletic fields (baseball, softball, tennis courts on the campus.) About Student-Teacher Ratio
Student/teacher ratio is calculated by dividing the total number of students by the total number of full-time equivalent teachers. Please note that a smaller student/teacher ratio does not necessarily translate to smaller class size. In some instances, schools hire teachers part time, and some teachers are hired for specialized instruction with very small class sizes. These and other factors contribute to the student/teacher ratio. Note: For private schools, Student/teacher ratio may not include Pre-Kindergarten.
