Located in Colorado Springs, Inspiration View Elementary School serves 527 students in grades PK–5 as part of El Paso County Colorado School District 49 and has been trending sharply upward over the past several years. Statewide, the school jumped from the 39th to the 68th percentile in four years, improving from a 2-star to a 3-star rating. About one-third of students qualify for free/reduced lunch, yet the school now posts academic results that beat both its district and the state.

Math is Inspiration View's standout subject: 51.2% of students are proficient — more than 15 points above the district and about 14 points above the state. ELA proficiency is also strong at 53.8%, above both the district (45.5%) and state (44.7%). Great school with a great staff. The school is fairly new and has a good population of military kids so those test scores are probably not a great indication of just how good this school and the staff actually is. The kids and the parents who have kids here have no complaints as you can see by the lack of comments. That's why I wanted to be the one to give credit where it is due. I and my kid especially appreciate the educators at this school. Mrs. Gardner in particular! Close Quote

I have tried to edit my last review but I just wanted to say that things have been improving. I wish there was a way to edit or delete a review. We had waited a long time to talk to anyone from the school and I was feeling ignored. There have been a lot of issues, that is the truth, but right now they are trying to make things right and I am stepping back to see if they can uphold their word. Close Quote
