Odyssey Elementary School is a PK–5 school in Colorado Springs, CO, serving 378 students as part of El Paso County Colorado School District 49, a well-regarded district that ranks in the 71st percentile statewide. Odyssey itself, however, sits well below the district's strong reputation: in the 2025–2026 school year it ranked in the 43rd percentile of Colorado elementary schools with a 2-star rating, a position that has remained remarkably stable since 2021–2022.

Two things make Odyssey stand out from its neighbors. First, it is a lower-performing outlier in a cluster of strong District 49 schools.
