Summary

Rocky Mountain Prep RISE is a public high school in Denver's School District No. 1, serving 586 students in grades 9–12 in the far northeast Denver area. The school serves a high-poverty population, with 77.8% of students qualifying for free/reduced lunch in 2024-25. Its student-teacher ratio of 12.6 is better than most nearby schools, including Montbello High School (15.5) and Dr. Martin Luther King Junior Early College (15.8). The school's standout metric is its graduation rate: 89.1% in 2024-25, above the district's 81.9% and the state's 85.6%. Rocky has exceeded the state graduation rate for five consecutive years.
