Canyon Creek Middle School is a small public school in Washougal, Washington, serving 168 students in grades 6–8 within the Washougal School District. Located about 4.4 miles from Jemtegaard Middle School, it serves a smaller student population than nearly all nearby comparison schools. Canyon Creek ranks around the 67th percentile among Washington middle schools and has a three-out-of-five-star rating, placing it above the statewide midpoint. Its small size may support close relationships, although test percentages can change more noticeably from year to year when enrollment is limited.

Science is Canyon Creek’s clearest strength. In 2025–26, 75% of students were proficient in science, compared with 58.74% in the district and 50.95% statewide.
