Kanesville School is a large K–6 elementary school in West Haven, Utah, serving 720 students in the Weber District and a community with generally lower economic need than most nearby schools. Its latest statewide ranking is in the 33rd percentile, or 376th among 563 Utah elementary schools, down from the 54th percentile the previous year. The school’s 19.5% chronic absenteeism rate is better than both the district and state averages and lower than nearly all nearby comparison schools.

Academic performance is mixed by grade and subject. In 2025–26, about 40.1% of tested students were proficient in English language arts, 40.6% in math, and 46.7% in science. Third-grade math was a standout strength at 51.4%, while sixth grade showed encouraging results in ELA, math, and especially science, where 59.2% were proficient.
