Launch High

Launch High is a small grades 9–12 public high school in Cedar City, Utah, serving 196 students in the Iron District area. Its enrollment is much smaller than nearby Cedar City High (1,372 students) and Canyon View High (1,021), which may appeal to families seeking a smaller-school setting. Despite being in a middle-ranked district—44th of 92 Utah districts—Launch ranked 25th of 139 Utah schools in 2025–26, placing it at the 82nd percentile.

Academically, Launch performed especially well in English language arts and science. In 2025–26, proficiency reached 60.7% in ninth-grade ELA and 56.8% in 10th-grade ELA, while science proficiency was 55.6% in both grades.
