Channing Hall is a public K–8 school in Draper, Utah, serving 604 students in a suburban area with several nearby public and charter-school options. Its continuous K–8 program gives families more grade-level continuity than most local elementary schools, which typically end after fifth or sixth grade. Channing Hall is currently ranked 66th of 563 Utah schools, placing it in the 88th percentile with a four-star rating. Its 2024–2025 student–teacher ratio was 16.7, one of the more favorable ratios among the nearby schools reviewed.

Our son was attending a local public school for kindergarten. He cried every single day and was not excited to go to school. Two weeks into the new school year we got a call from Channing Hall about an opening. We toured the school and decided to take our son out of the one school and enroll him in Channing. His attitude about school changed drastically. He looked forward to school every single day and was even upset when he had to miss it because of an illness. He is currently in his second year (first grade) at Channing and he LOVES it! That love of school has translated into his love of learning. This is the best school! Close Quote

The IB program is genius. We have benefited from our child's enrollment and participation in such a program. It focuses on becoming an agile learner - open to new ideas and non-traditional ways to solve problems. Our daughter has thrived in the creative environment and has a better understanding of her place and role in our community and the world. We are big supporters of Channing Hall. Close Quote

We have been VERY pleased with how Channing Hall has helped educate our children for the past 6 years. Channing hall embraces independent thinking and caring about others but also encourages risk-taking and global thinking. Our kids feel safe at the school both emotionally and physically. Teachers show a complete dedication to the students and are supported by many volunteer parents in the classrooms. This is a public charter school the gives you the quality of a private school.
