Summit Academy - Independence is a public school in Bluffdale, Utah, serving about 830 students in prekindergarten through eighth grade, a broader age range and larger enrollment than many nearby elementary schools. The school is part of the Summit Academy district, which ranks around the middle of Utah districts. For 2025–2026, the school ranked in approximately the 41st statewide percentile and received two stars. Its 18.2:1 student-teacher ratio is relatively favorable locally, while 17.95% of students qualified for free or reduced-price lunch.

The school has improved substantially from its 10th-percentile ranking in 2016–2017, but its recent results have slipped from the 55th percentile in 2023–2024. i hate it, its soooooo small all the teachers are nice but them mofos give way too much work for 8th, all the student are the same, theirs like no diversity everyone's the same, and its longer than another schools like 20-30 but early outs are 25-40, AND we have 6 periods a day crazy right, tbh i just rly hate this school Close Quote
