Skyridge High School

Skyridge High School is a large public school in Lehi, Utah, serving grades 9–12 and enrolling 2,483 students in the Alpine District. Lehi is a rapidly growing area, and Skyridge serves a traditional comprehensive high school population with a typical large-school student-teacher ratio of 26.2. The school ranks 27th out of 139 Utah high schools for 2025–26, placing it in the 81st percentile statewide and making it one of the stronger large high schools in the area. Its recent standing has improved from 46th in 2022–23, although it has not returned to its 13th-place rankings from 2020–21 and 2021–22.

Academically, Skyridge performs above both district and state averages in all three reported 10th-grade subjects. Proficiency rates were 55.2% in English language arts, 39.0% in mathematics, and 50.6% in science. Mathematics has shown the strongest recent improvement, rising from 31.6% in 2023–24, while science rebounded after a decline. Compared with nearby large schools, Lone Peak High and Corner Canyon High rank higher overall, but Skyridge outperforms Westlake High, American Fork High, and Lehi High in statewide standing. Skyridge is particularly competitive in math and science.

The most important concern for families is attendance and persistence. Skyridge’s 2024–25 graduation rate was 92.3%, above Utah’s 89.8% but below the rates at Lone Peak, Westlake, and Corner Canyon. Its dropout rate was 6.8%, better than the state rate but higher than the district rate and most nearby large-school peers. Chronic absenteeism reached 24.8%, meaning roughly one in four students met the state definition—higher than the Alpine District rate and notably above Lone Peak, American Fork, and Corner Canyon. Overall, Skyridge appears academically strong and effective across several student groups, with improving math results, while attendance is the clearest area for improvement.
