As you review the school rankings data, please be aware that some of the information from certain demographics is missing. The reason for this omission is that the data has been redacted from the source data itself due to low population samples in these specific demographic groups.

Redacting data from low population samples is a necessary step to ensure the reliability and accuracy of the results, as small sample sizes may not be representative of the broader population. Additionally, this measure helps protect the privacy of individuals belonging to these demographic groups.

Open Quote I transferred my daughter to this school and am now taking her out after only a few months!
The EK Elementary school has made a great impression to hang signs of "Anti bullying" all throughout it's halls, yet, I have to think that they were sent to the school for free and they hung them for "show". My daughter has been bullied by two boys consistently! One to whom knocked her down a sliding board and and has kicked her hit her numerous occasions and the other screamed in her ear at the top of his lungs resulting in a weekend in bed with a bad ringing migraine. I've addressed this school many times and to many school officials and they NEVER returned my calls!!! TWO MONTHS later, I have yet to receive a call back from the principle, teacher, guidance counselor... NO ONE!! I went in to be told that no one was available to talk and someone would return the call soon! Again, it's been two months and many visits to be turned down and phone call after phone call leaving voice mails and nobody cares about my concerns for my daughter! I attended a parent event and her TEACHER never even came to introduce herself! They DO have a "do not tattle tale" policy though! This is what they tell any child that is hurt and trying to report something to a teacher! (They need to start replacing anti bullying signs with NO TATTLE TALE signs if that's what they thrive on! I ask my daughter what she does in school and it's the same story.. We usually do things quietly all day because the teachers are talking and my main teacher goes to talk to our principle a lot". Her classroom has FOUR teachers to 17 students because there are interns! I have to assume from that response that they are having social time all day and do nothing hands on including take care of any concerns of the children or problems they may have. I'm VERY disappointed in this school!!! I am now in the process of removing my daughter and putting her in a more hands on, SAFE learning environment where the schools teachers, principles, etc actually take time to address concerns! What a shame that such a lazy, small town school that has very few students can't take the time to return a call about a child being bullied! Then they passed a levy? It's a shame! People are financially supporting a school now where children will not be learning or safe!! Close Quote

About Students eligible for discounted/free lunch:

The National School Lunch Program (NSLP) provides low-cost or free meals to students in U.S. public and nonprofit private schools based on household income. Those with incomes below 130% of the poverty line receive free lunch, while those between 130% and 185% qualify for reduced-price lunch. The percentage of students receiving free or reduced-price lunch serves as a marker for poverty, as it reflects the socioeconomic status of families in a given school or district. A higher FRPL rate typically indicates a higher concentration of low-income families, suggesting that the school or district may face additional challenges in providing adequate resources and support for student success.

About Student-Teacher Ratio

Student/teacher ratio is calculated by dividing the total number of students by the total number of full-time equivalent teachers. Please note that a smaller student/teacher ratio does not necessarily translate to smaller class size. In some instances, schools hire teachers part time, and some teachers are hired for specialized instruction with very small class sizes. These and other factors contribute to the student/teacher ratio. Note: For private schools, Student/teacher ratio may not include Pre-Kindergarten.
