Open Quote Tuslaw Local Schools is a network of "the good ole boy" mentality of teachers. They encourage bullying and harassment and usually partake in it. The curriculum is elementary in the High School, at best. If you look up their college readiness it is at a 4.1 That is ridiculous. These kids are destined to be ditch diggers and McDonalds employees. Tuslaw doesn't "expect the best" they are proud to offer and operate on the "bare minimum" I hope that you have researched neighboring schools with open enrollment, you will need to utilize those options. About Student-Teacher Ratio
Student/teacher ratio is calculated by dividing the total number of students by the total number of full-time equivalent teachers. Please note that a smaller student/teacher ratio does not necessarily translate to smaller class size. In some instances, schools hire teachers part time, and some teachers are hired for specialized instruction with very small class sizes. These and other factors contribute to the student/teacher ratio. Note: For private schools, Student/teacher ratio may not include Pre-Kindergarten.
