Colerain High School is a grades 9–12 comprehensive high school at 8801 Cheviot Rd in Cincinnati, part of the Northwest Local district, serving 1,591 students — the largest enrollment of any high school in its immediate area. For 2025–2026 it ranks 537th of 795 Ohio high schools (32nd percentile, 2 stars), which puts it ahead of every nearby school examined, including its own district's other comprehensive campus, Northwest High School (24th percentile, about 3 miles away), and well ahead of Winton Woods High School, Mt Healthy High School and Aiken New Technical High School. Even so, the 32nd percentile is still the bottom third of the state.

Where Colerain clearly shines is completion. Its 97.3% graduation rate is the highest among its peer schools, up 5.4 points in three years, and chronic absenteeism has fallen 12.3 points since 2021–22 to 38.3% — far better than several neighbors where two-thirds of students are chronically absent.
