Northwest High School is a public high school in Cincinnati, Ohio, serving about 910 students in grades 9–12 as part of the Northwest Local district. It ranks 605th of 795 Ohio high schools in 2025–2026 — the 24th percentile, with 1 star — placing it in the bottom quarter of the state, where it has stayed between the 21st and 27th percentile since 2020–2021.

Compared with nearby schools, Northwest is stronger than North College Hill High School, Winton Woods High School, Mt Healthy High School, and Transitions Academy on most measures, but behind Colerain High School, Fairfield High School, and Ross High School. Its 95.6% graduation rate is a relative strength, above Fairfield, North College Hill, Winton Woods, and Mt Healthy, and close to the district's 96.0%. Its clearest challenge is chronic absenteeism at 38.7%, well above the district's 27.1% and higher than most nearby schools. Even so, scores have improved notably since 2023–2024 — American History from 47.5% to 69.6%, Biology from 32.3% to 53.4%, and English II from 42.2% to 54.9% — while absenteeism has fallen from 54.5%.
