It is currently a 3-star school, ranked 57th percentile among 1,046 Ohio schools in 2025–26 — up slightly from 54th percentile in 2024–25, but below its 4-star, 73rd-percentile peak in 2015–16 and 2016–17. Its district ranks higher than the school does (69th percentile, 3 stars), which stands out locally: Eastern Middle has the lowest school rank among the nearby middle schools even though its district outranks all the nearby districts.
