Open Quote Granville Elementary provides an excellent education beginning in Kindergarten through 12th grade. The curriculum is well designed and the administration and teachers are always working to improve and provide students with the latest and best tools and instruction available. The environment is cheerful and the students are proud of their school. In each classroom children are given different levels of study based on their knowledge but can move to other levels as they advance. The students learn early that they like to advance and like the feeling of accomplishment. The parents are involved in the school and work well with the teachers and administration to provide support where needed. There is a mutual appreciation between the parents and the teachers. which helps the students to thrive. One of my children is in college now having gone through the Granville school system from Kindergarten to 12th grade and she has seen how well Granville prepares graduates versus schools that her peers have attended.

I really can't say enough about the schools and about the town itself which is a wonderful place to live. Close Quote

About Student-Teacher Ratio
Student/teacher ratio is calculated by dividing the total number of students by the total number of full-time equivalent teachers. Please note that a smaller student/teacher ratio does not necessarily translate to smaller class size. In some instances, schools hire teachers part time, and some teachers are hired for specialized instruction with very small class sizes. These and other factors contribute to the student/teacher ratio. Note: For private schools, Student/teacher ratio may not include Pre-Kindergarten.
