Westerville-North High School is a public high school in the Westerville City district serving grades 9–12 with 1,587 students in suburban Westerville, Ohio, just north of Columbus. In 2025–2026 it ranked 308th of 795 Ohio high schools — the 61st percentile — with a 3-star rating, above the state median but below nearby high-performing suburban schools such as Orange High School (93rd percentile, 5 stars) and New Albany High School (89th percentile, 4 stars).

Academically, North's profile is uneven. It exceeded the state in all six tested subjects in 2025–2026 and leads Westerville Central High School and Westerville-South High School in American History (80.9% proficient), Biology (83.7%), English II (73.2%), and Algebra I (72.3%). Biology is a clear strength, well above the state's 67.0%. Geometry is the standout weakness: 44.9% proficient, only slightly above the state (43.3%), below the district average (51.3%), and far behind Westerville Central (59.8%), Orange, and New Albany. The best Westerville school, topping Westerville Central High School, and Westerville South High School, as well as other schools in its district. Preparation for the OGT's is one of the big things involved in the "Warrior Way," a respect program that is enforced throughout the schools staff and students, helping all students pass the OGT's either accelerated or advanced. Even after OGT's are passed in the 10th grade, the staff at WNHS prepares its students with rigorous AP classes, as well as honors, and PSEO. Even further, ACT and SAT preparation, practice testing, and guides are abundant in the entire school, giving its students the best preparation for college. Funded fairly well, offering a wide ranging media center, two great gymnasiums, an auditorium, quite large cafeteria and "locker street", a wide, long hallway designated to lockers, WNHS is the perfect school for your up and coming high schooler.
